It all began with a deep-seated passion for heritage railways and a fascination with how mechanical things work. Both my father and I are ex-railwaymen and my son seems to share in that interedt even though he is only young.

Steam Dreams Engineering was born from years of experience working on heritage railways, combined with formal engineering training. We are based in Nottingham and our root are firmly planted in the values of customer service, precision and getting things right first time.
